Refunds and cancellations

Last Updated: October 12, 2026

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At MakeWave, we strive to ensure a fair and transparent experience for all our attendees. Please review our refund and cancellation terms below:

1. If you can’t make it

You can manage your booking yourself from the “Can’t make it?” link on your pass or in your ticket email. You’ll need your booking number and the email you booked with.

  • Move to another date: free, once per booking, up to 24 hours before the gathering starts, to any gathering with seats available that costs the same or less. If it costs less, we refund the difference. Your QR pass stays the same.
  • Cancel for a refund: a full refund up to 72 hours before the gathering starts, back to the way you paid. Banks usually show it within 5–7 working days.
  • Later than that: bookings can’t be refunded or moved, because we’ve prepared materials for your seat. You’re welcome to send a friend in your place: just forward them your pass.

2. Event Cancellation

In the unlikely event that a MakeWave event is cancelled by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.

3. Postponement

If the event is postponed, your tickets will automatically be valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within 48 hours of the postponement announcement.

For any queries related to refunds, please email us at hello@makewave.in with your transaction details.
